Dhairyalakshmi is a divine manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi, known in Hindu mythology as the giver of wealth and abundance. Dhairyalakshmi symbolizes valor. This intricate artwork depicts the profound manifestation of Dhairyalakshmi in all her glory. She is depicted in this piece with eight arms holding the discus, conch, trident, cup, bow and an arrow shown as a decoration of her prabhavali. Her two other arms are in the abhaya and varadha mudras to represent her roles as the protector and giver. Her eyes are representative of the owl which acts as her consort. She is flanked by elephants and sits on a garden of lotuses represent the lotus she sits on. Each part of the goddess's being represents a deeper meaning.
